(2020) Bride #6 Side by Side
Interested in how this amazing glow-up came to be?  Come and ask me about it tonight at my livestream!  The stream will start at 7pm, and I'll get the link out to you a bit earlier than that.  Please send any questions to sarahbrynneart@gmail.com.
Can't wait to see you all and talk about art and weddings for a bit!

Direct lighting really helped this one become more moody.  Show closes tonight!  Get in there while you still can!

(2020) Brides #4 Side by Side
This one needed a major upgrade.

(2020) Bride #3 Side by Side
This one probably changed the least from the first version to the second, but because of all the details I added on the second go-round it definitely took the longest to redo!

(2020) Bride #2 Side by Side
Here's another comparison between the first set of paintings and the second.

(2020) Bride #1 Side by Side
Thank you for a wonderful response to my show!  I love that I finally get to share these paintings with you, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has taken time to look at them.  The show will be up for the next four days, so to keep the momentum going, I wanted to give you a little look at the progression to the finished product.  I did the first set of these paintings over the summer, and I ended up being so unhappy with them that I redid each one.  They came out MUCH better the second time around, and the redo was worth every moment of panic when I thought I wasn't going to meet my deadline.
What do you think?  Do you like the first version or the second version better?  Does one communicate a specific mood more clearly than the other?

Show Tease 2
Here's another little glimpse at one of the new paintings!  Are you intrigued, yet?  If not, I guess I need to be trying harder?

Okay, okay, you can have the purple one, too. :)

Messed around with some colors on this sketch from Head Rending last semester.  There was a purple one, too, but it didn't make the cut.

I did, like, fifty of these, and these are the only decent ones.  Teeth are surprisingly hard.

Practicing.
Also - ha.  Some of these are the eyes of celebrities, and if that sort of thing interests you, I've identified them below.

IDK why I think this is funny.  Maybe because these specific choices are less than surprising. *cough* Brandon Flowers *cough*
